The ddrum Dominion Birch series received numerous upgrades for 2022 with some key features and stunning new finishes, bringing these drums to a new level of sound quality and visual appeal. Dominion Birch drums feature three new finishes, a redesigned double tom holder, memory locks on all floor tom legs, classic Dominion box style lugs, 2.3 mm triple-flanged hoops for tuning stability, and an integrated triple-point suspension system with minimal shell contact. Dominion Birch series drums also feature 100% birch shells that tend to be louder and more articulate than traditional maple shells. These birch shells accentuate boosted high-end frequencies, have slightly reduced midrange and a ton of low-end punch that cuts through any mix whether in live or studio applications. Toms and floor toms are 6-ply, 7 mm thickness while the snare and bass drums are 8-ply, 9.5 mm thickness. All shells come with a 45-degree bearing edge.
The Brushed Olive Metallic finish is a modern oyster wrap giving it a classic and cutting-edge appearance. This finish comes to life under the lights, highlighting the olive metallic that runs throughout.
